Clovis Concrete Crew serves Reedley, "The World's Fruit Basket," about 21 miles southeast of Clovis along the Kings River. The city had 25,227 residents at the 2020 census.

A Town That Poured Early
Reedley is named for Thomas Law Reed, a Civil War veteran who settled here to grow wheat and donated land for the railroad station. When the city incorporated in 1913, it built its first cement sidewalks that same year, along with its first sewer system, fire department, and steel water tower. Wheat later gave way to grapes, figs, peaches, and other fruit, and agriculture is still the heart of the local economy.
Concrete Work Around Reedley
Reedley has historic blocks, established neighborhoods, and newer homes, and each brings its own projects.
Older homes need replacement work: driveways with deep cracks, walks lifted out of level, and steps worn down after decades of use.
Newer homes need additions: patios, a wider driveway, a side-yard pad, or a pool deck. Our pool decks page covers finishes that stay more comfortable under bare feet in summer.
River Town, Valley Heat
Land near a river can have looser, sandier soil than the cemented hardpan found in much of Fresno County, and both need attention. Loose soil gets dug out and replaced with compacted base; hardpan can slow digging and trap water. We look at the ground at every estimate.
Then there's the heat. We pour early on summer mornings, keep the base damp, and cure every slab so it reaches full strength instead of drying out on the surface.
Repairs
Not every cracked slab needs to go. Cracks can be routed and sealed, and badly broken sections can be cut out and replaced. See concrete repair for how we decide.
Permits
Reedley has its own city government, so sidewalk and approach work goes through the City of Reedley. We confirm requirements before scheduling.
