Clovis Concrete Crew pours driveways, patios, and pads in Easton, an unincorporated Fresno County community about 13 miles from Clovis and 7.5 miles south of downtown Fresno.

About Easton
Easton had 1,972 residents at the 2020 census and covers about 3 square miles at an elevation of 276 feet. It was once called Covel, then took the name of land agent O.W. Easton. Its post office opened in 1881, closed in 1902, and reopened in 1952.
Common Easton Projects
Homes here often sit on roomier lots than in town, so we get asked for:
- Driveway replacements, widening, and turnarounds
- Pads for trailers, boats, and farm equipment, see RV pads and slabs
- Backyard patios with a slab ready for a shade structure
- Walkways from the drive to the front and back doors
- Crack repair and section replacement on older slabs
Why Thickness and Base Matter Here
A pad that holds a loaded trailer or a pickup with a camper needs more than a standard 4-inch slab. We typically build heavy-use areas thicker, with rebar and a compacted Class II aggregate base, and thicken the edges where tires roll on and off. Lighter-use areas like walkways can stay thinner. The written quote spells out exactly which is which.
Sun-Proofing a Slab
Easton gets the same long run of triple-digit summer days as the rest of the area. Fresh concrete in that heat needs early pour times, a damp subgrade, and real curing. Once it's cured, a UV-stable sealer helps the surface resist staining and fading.
County Permits
Because Easton is unincorporated, permits for work near a county road go through Fresno County. We take care of checking that before your job is scheduled, and we have utilities marked through USA North 811 before digging.
