Clovis Concrete Crew is a commercial concrete contractor for property managers, business owners, and builders around Clovis, handling the sidewalks, curbs, ramps, and pads that keep a commercial property safe, accessible, and up to code. We schedule around your business hours and pour early to beat the summer heat.

Commercial Concrete Services
Sidewalks and walkways
Replacement of cracked or lifted panels, new walkways between buildings and parking, and storefront approaches.
Curb and gutter
New curb and gutter, sections replaced after damage or settlement, and curb cuts for new driveways.
ADA curb ramps and accessible routes
Curb ramps with detectable warning surfaces, landings, and walkways built to accessibility slope and width requirements.
Dumpster and equipment pads
Thick reinforced pads for trash enclosures, HVAC units, generators, and transformers. Dumpster pads take the impact of heavy trucks every week, so we build them thicker and with more steel than a typical slab.
Parking lot concrete
Concrete aprons, drive entrances, wheel-stop pads, and sections of lot replaced where asphalt keeps failing.
Slabs and footings
Slabs for storage buildings, canopies, and small additions, plus footings for signs and light poles.
Building Commercial Concrete for Valley Conditions
Heat on pour day
Most of our commercial pours happen in the early morning between June and September. Concrete placed in triple-digit afternoon heat sets fast and dries at the surface before it's finished, which leads to cracking. Early starts, dampened subgrade, and prompt curing make a measurable difference.
Hard ground
Much of the Clovis area has a cemented hardpan close to the surface. Footings for pole bases and pads sometimes need it broken out. We account for it in the quote.
Traffic loads
Commercial flatwork sees delivery trucks, refuse trucks, and forklifts. Thickness, reinforcement, joint spacing, and the strength of the mix are set for the actual loads, not copied from residential specs.
Permits and City Standards
Work in the public right-of-way in Clovis, including sidewalks, curb and gutter, and driveway approaches, requires a City encroachment permit. A complete submittal includes the application, a construction drawing, and a traffic control plan, and the finished work has to meet City of Clovis Standard Specifications and Standard Drawings. Properties in Fresno or unincorporated Fresno County go through those agencies instead. We prepare the submittal and coordinate the inspections.
